For the Mustang Grande, yes it was. If it were a regular Mustang, then no. I had a couple of ‘70 Mustangs when I was in High School, and just after. The kicker here is “Grande”. This was designed to be geared for the more affluent drivers. Think rich kid’s car. The kind of Mustang that rich folks would get their kids that just insisted on having a sports car rather than a Mercury or Lincoln. And another thing that was interesting was that on the Grande, they usually had a houndstooth pattern on the vinyl top. Not all of them did, and yours may not have, but a lot of them did. Anyway, as a bit of a Ford Freak, I see a lot of possibilites in your car. One to hang on to.
